Mailand

Heute kommt mein kleiner aber feiner Post zu unserem Mailandtrip online.

Für uns ging es Freitagabends mit Ryan Air von Frankfurt aus los. Leider hatten wir etwas Verspätung aber da wir sowieso spät abends angekommen sind haben wir nicht wirklich Zeit verloren.

Am Flughafen Bergamo angekommen, gabs für uns erstmal ein Eis. Dann ging es mit dem Bus Richtung Mailand Hauptbahnhof. Die Fahrt ging super schnell rum und wir waren innerhalb von ca. 45 Minuten in der Innenstadt. Vom Hauptbahnhof sind wir noch ca. 15 Minuten zu unserem Hotel gelaufen. Es war total entspannt und auch das Wetter hat ja super mitgespielt. Wir waren auch noch kurz in der Innenstadt was leckeres essen. 

Untergebracht waren wir übrigens im Hotel Windsor - kann ich euch wirklich total empfehlen.

Das Zimmer war wirklich super schön und auch von der Größe perfekt für die 2 Nächte.

In den Tag gestartet sind wir immer mit einem super leckeren und großzügigen Buffet im Hotel. Es gab wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas.

Am Samstag haben wir dann nach dem leckeren Frühstück erstmal einen Spaziergang durch die Innenstadt gemacht und sind später mit einem der beliebten Hop on Hop off Busse durch Mailand gefahren.

Mittags sind wir dann ins Piz in der Nähe vom Dom zum Mittagessen gegangen. Das Restaurant liegt in einer kleinen Gasse und ohne Tripadvisor wären wir wohl daran vorbeigelaufen. Vor dem Restaurant war alles voll, so viele Leute haben auf einen Platz gewartet. Die Wartezeit wurde uns aber durch Pizzastücke und Freigetränke versüßt.

Das Warten auf einen Platz im Piz hat sich mehr als gelohnt. Die Pizza war wirklich der Hammer und zum Schluss gab es noch einen Limoncello aufs Haus. YUM!

Wir waren etwas Shoppen und haben uns dann noch ein super leckeres Eis gegönnt.

Abends sind wir dann wieder in die Innenstadt gefahren, an einem kleinen Kanal waren super viele Restaurants und Bars. Das Flair dort war einfach super schön, auch wenn es zwischendurch mal kurz geregnet hat.

Für uns gings dann ins The Brisket Milano. 

Auch dort gabs wieder richtig leckeres Essen und einen kleinen Starter. Von deutschen Restaurants bin ich das irgendwie gar nicht gewöhnt.

Als Hauptgang gabs dann Steaks, Kartoffelchips und Maiskolben und noch dazu ein leckeres Dr. Pepper. Und als Nachtisch haben wir uns noch eine Portion Churros gegönnt. 

Danach haben wir noch eine Minikneipentour gemacht, bevor wir dann so gegen 2.00 Uhr ins Bett gefallen sind.

Auch am Sonntag waren wir dann wieder in der Stadt unterwegs. Das Wetter war einfach so ein Traum und wir haben es wirklich total genutzt.

Mailand hat so so schöne Straßen, ich bin wirklich begeistert von der Stadt.

Mittags waren wir dann auch nochmal lecker Pizza und Nudeln essen, zum Nachtisch gabs auch noch ein Tiramisu! Das ist ja sowieso mein absolutes Lieblingsdessert.

Mailand hat uns auf jeden Fall super gefallen und wir werden sicher mal wieder kommen! Als wir am Flughafen angekommen sind hat es übrigens so angefangen zu schütten und gewittern, dass auch unser Rückflug so ca. 2 Stunden Verspätung hatte haha.

Today my small but fine mail comes to our Milan trip online.

For us it was Friday evening with Ryan Air from Frankfurt going on. Unfortunately we were a little late but since we arrived late at night anyway we did not really lost time.

Arrived at the airport Bergamo, gabs for us first an ice cream. Then we took the bus to Milan Central Station. The ride was super fast and we were within about 45 minutes in the city center. From the central station we walked about 15 minutes to our hotel. It was totally relaxed and the weather was great too. We were also briefly in the city what delicious food.

By the way, we stayed at the Hotel Windsor - I can totally recommend you.

The room was really great and also perfect for the 2 nights.

We started the day with a super delicious and generous buffet in the hotel. There was really something for everyone.

On Saturday, after a delicious breakfast, we first took a walk through the city center and later drove through Milan on one of the popular Hop on Hop Off buses.

At noon we went to Piz near the dome for lunch. The restaurant is located in a small alley and without Tripadvisor we would have walked past it. In front of the restaurant everything was full, so many people were waiting for a place. The waiting time was sweetened but us by pizza pieces and free drinks.

Waiting for a seat in the Piz was more than worth it. The pizza was really awesome and at the end there was a limoncello on the house. YUM!

We were a little shopping and have indulged then a super delicious ice cream.

In the evening we went back to the city center, on a small canal were a great many restaurants and bars. The atmosphere there was just great, even if it rained in between times.

For us we went to The Brisket Milano.

There was again really delicious food and a small starter. I'm not used to that from German restaurants.

The main course was then steaks, potato chips and corn on the cob and a delicious Dr. Pepper. And for dessert we have indulged in a portion of churros.

Then we did a mini-tilt tour, before we fell like this at 2.00 clock in bed.

Also on Sunday we were back in the city on the way. The weather was just such a dream and we really used it totally.

Milan has such beautiful streets, I'm really excited about the city.

At noon we were again delicious pizza and pasta, for dessert there was also a tiramisu! That's my absolute favorite dessert anyway.

Milano was a great hit and we will definitely be back! Incidentally, when we arrived at the airport it started pouring and thunderstorms, so that our return flight was about 2 hours late haha.
